Infrared Thermal Imaging
Infrared thermal imaging provides you with a closer look at your equipment, exposing areas of potential failure comprise undetected by the human eye. The result? Valuable feedback not only on the condition of your electrical power distribution systems, but your mechanical systems as well.
Our extensive expertise and experience in infrared thermal imaging, includes a thorough working knowledge of NFPA 70 B, recommended practices for electrical maintenance and safety procedures that include NFPA 70E, CFR 29 part 1900-1901 (OSHA) and NEC. We know the codes and apply them in our work, which includes the use of PPE.
A typical survey begins at plant mains and works down through the MCC to individual pieces of equipment. Thorough reporting shows both visual and IR images of the fault, its location in the plant and the recommended method of repair.
Our technology
ETS uses the cutting edge Flir camera to deliver highly accurate results. Operating within a temperature range of 32 - 900 deg F, our technology resolves to 0.1 deg, providing a unique view of the physical world and further insight into the condition of your equipment. ETS provides the option of higher temperature measurements upon request.
