Experimental modal analysis
Quantify structural dynamic response through the use of modal analysis and operating deflection shape (ODS). Modal and ODS determines mode shape, dampening characteristics and stiffness, providing a visual concept of a structure’s response. The results provide you with an excellent tool to verify finite element models and a means to analytically place stiffening members etc. into a structure in order to correct its response.
Seismic studies
Various types of production and test equipment may be sensitive to low levels of floor vibration. Concerns may include impaired equipment performance (such is the case with poorly mounted scanning electron microscopes and silicon wafer fab) or process quality issues such as poor surface finish.
